This treatment can be used in conjunction when certain treatments are booked, these are Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Sports Massage.

Deep Oscillation is often used worldwide for a multitude of conditions. These include sports and injury regeneration, pre and post-surgery recovery, and chronic pain relief. It is intended to work alongside some of our manual treatments to intensify the process and increase the benefits.

How Deep Oscillation Works

Deep Oscillation is a electrostatic, electromechanical field therapy, which promotes lymphatic drainage of the tissues. As opposed to externally applied, mechanical forms of massage therapy which vibrate on the skin surface, deep oscillation works through the entire tissue layers to a depth of 8 cm. This is shown to reach through skin, connective tissue, fat, muscles, and blood and lymph vessels.

Deep Oscillation is often performed with gloves, attached to the therapist via an electrode adhered to their arm. The patient holds a titanium bar whilst the massage is performed, allowing pulsed oscillations to penetrate your skin.

Fear not, this process is very gentle and non-invasive. In fact, most patients often feel relaxed whilst getting it done.
