Established in 2006, Olive Massage is owned and managed by Lucy Cook. Having previously sold a successful massage and beauty salon in Selby, which she had owned for 7 years, Lucy decided that she wanted to specialise in massage therapy in her home town of Wakefield. Very shortly afterwards Lucy opened a second treatment room in Leeds.

Lucy’s interest in massage started over 10 years ago. After suffering a whiplash injury she began to suffer from chronic neck and shoulder pain which caused her to have daily tension headaches that began to affect her day to day living. After pursuing many avenues such as visits to doctors, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors and osteopaths etc the pain remained, until Lucy discovered deep tissue massage. After her first massage session the pain began to ease almost immediately and after three sessions it was gone altogether. Lucy was so impressed by the benefits of massage that she left her career to train as a massage therapist.
Hi, I’m Aimee and I graduated from Leeds Beckett university in 2026 with a first class degree in BSc (hons) Sports and Exercise Therapy. I have had previous experience working in semi-professional and academy football alongside clinical work which has inspired my passion surrounding all things recovery, rehabilitation and fitness. My interest in sport from a young age encouraged me to follow this career path in sports therapy, allowing me to provide patient-centred care for anyone who needs it.
Hi, I’m Tatjana! I recently graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a Sports and Exercise therapy degree and have completed my sports masseuse’s qualification in the first year of my degree. Whilst I’ve been at University I have worked at a super league rugby club working under their team of physiotherapists, growing my knowledge surrounding different injuries and prevention of injuries. Growing up in dance where i suffered many injuries it inspired me to pursue the idea of becoming a sports therapist.
We’re a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and all staff are trained to ITEC and VTCT standards.
